We’re pleased to announce that our maps and prints website has moved from maps.turkishpostalhistory.com to www.TurkishMapsAndPrints.com. While the design and content remain unchanged, this new domain name is shorter, easier to remember, and better reflects the broader scope of the collection. Visitors can continue to enjoy the same curated experience, now with a more intuitive web address that makes sharing and revisiting the site simpler.

Every image featured on my website has been deliberately watermarked—not as a design choice, but as a necessary safeguard. These images, all rare scans from my personal archive, were created with care and curated to preserve cultural and historical value. The effort is not only in scanning these but also enhancing them for best visual display so everyone can enjoy the fine details of the artistic work.

Unfortunately, they were misappropriated.

Without my consent, several of these images were uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, falsely labeled as public domain. From there, they were redistributed across various platforms and even sold as stock photos—stripped of context, authorship, and rightful ownership.
